
An absolute disgrace! I purchased a O’Neill wetsuit from these guys late October to prepare me for the coming winter months, after only 6 times unfortunately the zipless wetsuit head flap tore and the pull chord snapped (really think again before buying a zipless) I was ever so disappointed so I contacted the wetsuit centre. They were super quick at replying and told me to send the wetsuit back, they would then send it to O'Neill to either be fixed or issue a new one. The wetsuit was sent off on the 5th December - I had to pay full postage, 2 weeks past and I heard nothing. I emailed the wetsuit centre to find out if they received the wetsuit, they replied on the 19th December with “it is currently at O’Neill but hope to hear back from them at the start of next week”. I then had to prompt them again to find out how it was getting on, this was the 11th Jan - another national lockdown took place on the 5th so understood I might not hear back from them, this point I was absolutely gutted as I was without a wetsuit for 2 months! On the 12th Jan the wetsuit centre replied back to me to tell me “Nothing yet, O’Neill were closed over the festive period and should reply this week”. I left it and decided they would get back to me when they heard something. Feb 1st and still nothing - I asked the wetsuit centre for any news. They mentioned this had gone far too long and O’Neill usually reply within days, it’s been 60 days!! The next day O’Neill suddenly replied back, and the first time we have heard from O’Neill within 60 days, “they have decided to fix your wetsuit” - eyy, they have taken 60 days to now realise they would like to fix the wetsuit!! The wetsuit centre offered me a full refund or I wait for the wetsuit to be repaired and £100 compensation. Now that is a kind gesture but all I want is my wetsuit, that after 6 uses was unusable and have waited 60 days to find out it will be fixed (not even started it).In the future I will think again at purchasing anything from O’Neill and the wetsuit centre for the lack of communication and time it has taken to resolve quite a simple problem.Must point out they have decided to give me a full refund today and the wetsuit will be fixed and sent back to me, can’t wait to use my 5/4 in the summer.
